HBC Member Event Calendar

We’re working hard to improve our programs and make them both more enjoyable and interesting for our membership. We will no longer be holding the Board Meeting just prior to the program so that our monthly meeting will be devoted to activities both hospitable and interesting for everyone who attends. We also will be holding some programs and meetings on days other than our usual first Tuesday of the month so that many who have not been able to attend in the past can participate. And some of our initial events this year will be held in new venues as we try to make greater use of the resources of the Bay Area book community. Please mark these dates in your calendar and join us!

Collaboration with SFartsED a
Held at The Minnesota Street Project, 1275 Minnesota St, San Francisco, CA 94107
Saturday, October 7, 11 am – 4 pm

This year in an effort to give back to our community at large, the HBC is collaborating with the SFartsEd program to run a Saturday afternoon class on bookbinding for 12 young San Franciscan artists. Founded in 1968 by Ruth Asawa as the SF Arts Education Project, SFartsED’s mission is to introduce art and creativity to children from every sector of the city. We are looking for volunteers to teach and donations of materials from our members to make this event happen.

If you have time on this date or materials to donate, please email us at eventshbc3@gmail.com
