Repairs and Commissions
Do you repair Bibles or restore old books?
No, the organization itself does not accept repair or restoration work. If you need a book repaired, please consult our Commissions List to find a qualified binder in your area or one who accepts shipped projects.
Can you recommend a specific binder for my project?
Because we represent a wide variety of skilled binders, we do not make individual recommendations. We encourage you to look through the Commissions List, review the portfolios of our members, and reach out to someone whose specialty matches your needs.
Membership & Contacting Members
How do I become a member?
We welcome bookbinders of all skill levels! To join, visit our membership page for full details on dues and how to sign up.
How can I find the email address of a specific member?
If a member has chosen to make their contact information public for networking or commissions, it will be listed in our Commissions List. For privacy reasons, we do not share the personal emails, phone numbers, or contact details of members who have opted out of the public directory.
I’m a member. How do I get added to the Commissions List?
If you are an active member and would like to be listed as available for client work, please email membership@handbookbinders.org.
