EVENT IS FULL
That consummate bibliophile, Stephen Woodall, currently serving as the Logan Collection Specialist for the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts at the Legion of Honor will provide us an unique opportunity to view both the current exhibition of the Reva and David Logan Collection of Illustrated Books and some of the other interesting books and bindings not currently on view. The Logan collection of modern artist illustrated books, comprised of over 300 books collected by the Chicago couple over the course of forty years was given to the Fine Arts Museums in 1998. Stephen Woodall is well known to many of us from his former positions as Director of the Center for Book and Paper Arts, Columbia College Chicago and Artistic Director of the San Francisco Center for the Book.
Following the presentation we will reconvene for an informal lunch in the Legion of Honor Cage at 12 pm.
