LOCATION: FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF OAKLAND, 2619 BROADWAY

Hampton Deck started to learn paper marbling seven years ago with a grant to do an intensive study with Pam Smith. Since then he has never looked back! He has studied historical and modern marbling patterns, always challenging himself to learn more. He is proficient in these patterns and more: stone, bouquet, octopus, flame, Spanish wave. Hampton's sense of color is unique, often using bright colors in unusual ways. 

Material Fee: $25 (Not included in the workshop price and must be paid directly to Hampton on day of the workshop)

Each student will have their own tray and set of tools to use. Hampton will give a short talk and demonstration, then allow plenty of time for students to follow their creative muse. Note: He has developed a special technique to allow students to take their papers home the same day of the class.
