FEBRUARY 13-14, 2016
10-5PM
1890 BRYANT STREET, SF CA 94110
This class brings together the playful and efficient, and is aimed to bind together single sheets and to have a little creative fun along the way.
The album-book will open flat, ready to mount art or pictures, or can be used with original artwork. We will work with Tyvek and double sided tape to create the book.
The fun part will be to make your own book cloth using natural fiber cloth from the store. In addition we will experiment the decoration of traditional book-cloth using hand cut stencils and ink. The fly leaf will/can be decorated, as well if students wish.
Beginning Level bookbinding is helpful for this course.
